01Access

Signing in and moving money

Protection that's on for everyone, not a setting someone forgot to turn on.

Two-factor for everyone

Every account needs a second factor: a passkey, such as Face ID, Touch ID or a hardware key, or an authenticator app.

A backup factor for large withdrawals

Withdrawing 1,000 or more in USDC, USDT or EURC from your account needs a second enrolled factor, so losing one device never stands between you and your money.

Alerts on what matters

You're emailed when money is sent, when a payout destination or a second factor is added, and when someone's access changes.

Roles and approvals

Viewers can't pay, members' payments can need an admin's approval, and account numbers are masked for anyone who isn't confirmed to pay.

02Fraud checks

Catches the scams aimed at finance teams

Bill pay checks every supplier invoice with rules written in code, so a convincing email can't argue its way past them.

Double payments

A bill that's already paid, or being paid, can't be paid again until the duplicate is resolved.

Invoice redirection

New bank details for a supplier you've paid before must be confirmed with them by a person before the bill can be paid.

Impersonation

Emails from a domain that imitates a supplier's, and supplier names that imitate ones you know, are flagged.

Address poisoning

Paying a wallet address that imitates one you've paid before is blocked.

03Verification and regulation

Verified customers, regulated partners

Everyone on Align is verified, and money moves through licensed institutions.

Every customer verified

People go through identity checks and businesses through KYB, including their owners, before they can pay or get paid.

04Questions

Common questions

Is two-factor authentication optional?

No. Every account needs a passkey or an authenticator app. A second, backup factor becomes required for withdrawals of 1,000 or more.

What if I lose my phone?

Enroll a backup factor in Settings, such as a second passkey or an authenticator app. With two factors, losing one device doesn't lock you out.

How does Align catch a changed supplier bank account?

Bill pay compares the details on each bill with the ones your team has paid before. New details for a known supplier are flagged, and the bill can't be paid until someone confirms them with the supplier.

Will I know when someone on my team adds a payee?

Yes. When a member adds a recipient, the business's other admins are emailed.

Is Align regulated?

Align Payments Ltd. is registered with FINTRAC in Canada as a money services business (no. N300000203). Align isn't a bank; regulated services are provided through licensed financial institutions.
