Why does a stablecoin payment show in dollars?

AlignPay books your Global Account activity in its currency: USDC and USDT movements are USD lines, and EURC movements are EUR lines. The token and network are on the payment's own page if you need them.

The wider picture

The key points from the guide this answer comes from:

  1. Download statements from Statements in AlignPay, or Export on the Transactions page: choose one account or all of them, a period, and PDF or CSV for Excel.
  2. Each thing you did is one line in dollars or euros, with its date, description, amount, currency, exchange rate, status and reference. Fees and refunds have lines of their own.
  3. Incoming bank payments show who sent them and the reference they wrote, so you can match them to your invoices.
  4. Give your accountant the Viewer role: they can see everything and download statements, but can't pay.
