How Align's pricing works

Align doesn't publish a rate card: you get a quote on your own volumes. There's no monthly fee, every fee is shown before you confirm a payment, and Align pays the network fee when you send USDC or USDT.

What you pay for

Opening and holding the account
No monthly or subscription fee.
Paying a supplier or contractor by bank
A fee per payment: a percentage of the amount, with a minimum in each currency.
Converting between currencies
A fee on the conversion, shown with the rate before you confirm.
Sending USDC or USDT to a wallet
Align pays the network fee for you.
Receiving payments
Depends on the currency and the rail; your quote lists it.

The percentages and minimums are set per customer, which is why they come in a quote rather than on this page.

What you see before you pay

Before you confirm a payment, AlignPay shows what you send, the fee and what the recipient receives. A conversion shows its rate and fee, and a supplier bill shows the fee and what you pay in total, so you know the cost of each payment before it leaves.

Two costs sit outside Align, as they would with any provider: the fee a recipient's bank may charge to receive an international wire, and the spread a supplier's own bank applies if it converts what it receives. Paying a supplier in its own currency, over its local rail, avoids most of both.

What sets your quote

  • Monthly volume. Quotes are built on the volume you expect to move.
  • Currencies and rails. Local rails such as SEPA and Faster Payments usually cost less than a SWIFT wire, and a payment that changes currency includes a conversion.
  • Payment size. Many small payments meet the minimum fee more often than a few large ones.
  • Where your customers and suppliers are. Some corridors cost more to serve than others.
  • USD ACH and wire access, which is reviewed separately by Align's US banking partner.

How to compare providers

A fair comparison is the all-in cost of a real payment: what leaves your account against what arrives in your supplier's, in its currency. Headline fees hide most of the difference.

Common questions

Why doesn't Align publish a price list?
Because what a payment costs Align depends on the currency, the rail and the country at the other end, and companies move very different mixes. A quote on your own volumes is more accurate than a list built for an average customer. Every fee is still shown before you confirm a payment.
Is there a monthly fee?
No. There's no monthly or subscription fee. You pay a fee on the payments and conversions you make.
Do I pay network fees when I send USDC or USDT?
No. When you send USDC or USDT from your AlignPay balance, Align pays the network fee, so you never need to hold or top up a network's own token.
Will my recipient get the full amount?
Before you confirm a payment, the app shows what you send, the fee and what the recipient receives. On a SWIFT payment, the recipient's own bank can still charge to receive it, as with any wire.
What do I need to get a quote?
Your expected monthly volume, the currencies you receive and pay in, the countries of your customers and suppliers, and a typical payment size. Send them through the contact page.
